Spy pictures displays a model of the next BMW 1 Series hatch have came out. The model is in its characteristic BMW black and white psychedelic disguise. The new car will be officially launched sometime in 2011. The 5-door compact car features a RWD drive train which will take up the power via 6-speed manual gearboxes or automatic transmissions.

Unverified information is that BMW is trying out with a bigger shooting brake/ wagon variant for the 1 so that American clients who call for more space can be well fitted.

The engine includes both petrol and turbo diesel versions. The petrol ambit is from a 115i with a 105bhp (78kW) 1.3-litre engine, to a 116i with the same motor. But it has a sporting higher power numeral of 136bhp (101kW) and a 135iS whose highest power is 326bhp (243kW). It will also include an efficient system to decrease fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.
