German automaker BMW is celebrating their strong performance for the first quarter of 2010. They are observing the good performance by releasing a new special edition roadster. The 2010 BMW Z4 sDrive35is Limited Edition Mille Miglia accolades the strong BMW operation at the Mille Miglia race in 1940, and was presented at the 2010 edition of the event.
Dr. Klaus Draeger, who is a BMW board member, stated that “The victory in the Mille Miglia in 1940 is still today a milestone in the history of the BMW brand and it is not only a witness to the extraordinary technical competence, but also the passion with which you work in BMW.”
A mere 99 units of the car will be obtainable, all of which will be traded in Italy. The sDrive35is has the 3.0-liter inline-six twin-turbo straight injection petrol engine that develops 340 PS (250 kW / 335 bhp) and up to 450 Nm (332 lb-ft) of torsion. This can be altered by increasing to 500 Nm (369 lb-ft).
The car has a standard M aerodynamics kit, and has a metal Polaris matt outside color counterbalanced by a matt black heater grille. Dark grey 19-inch alloy wheels and Mille Miglia labeling on the exterior. Alcatraz and leather make up the interior.
