Alsa Automotive Engineering, established in Abu Dhabi, has tuned up the BMW X6 M to an imposing 724 PS (533 kW / 714 bhp).
Mohammed Al Sayegh who is the company’s CEO, states “the over-700 horsepower figure was obtained with no modification to the engine’s displacement, unlike the 715 PS (526 kW /705 bhp) X6 M tuned by German outfit Nowack Motors.”
Al Sayegh further reported to the WCF that “[Nowack Motors] have produced that by making the car a 4.8 liter instead of keeping it at its 4.4 liter engine capacity. We are the first and only company to have successfully modified the turbo’s so that the car can run higher boost on stock engine.”
The effect is a raise in horsepower of more than 32%. Torsion is also advanced to an upper limit of 945 Nm (697 ft-lb). The SUV is now able to sprint from 0-100 km/h in 3.8 seconds, and on to 200 km/h in 14.6 seconds total. Alsa Automotive arrogates a 325 km/h (202 mph) top speed.
The cost for the Alsa Automotive Engineering BMW X6 M package starts at 68,000 Arab Emirates Dirham which is equal to €15,086 or $18,514.
