The Extended wheelbase 3-Series is going to be built at the new Chinese plant. The question now that arises is whether ‘long wheelbase variants turning into a big trend in China?’

Substantially, at any rate for the section in which the 3-Series contends in China, BMW finds the motivation to extend a long-wheelbase version to rise up against the fortunate Audi A4L which is the broadened wheelbase variant of the A4 model.

BMW will be working up on the extended version of the 3-Series at a new plant in the Shengyang economic region with its Chinese collaborator the Brilliance Auto. The plant, planned to be constructed in 2012, will have a capability of 100,000 units and will also be utilized to construct the X1, according to Brilliance chairman Qi Yu Min.

The new plant will provide BMW and Brilliance with a facility of 300,000 units per year with most of the components that is around 60% sourced locally. BMW/Brilliance expects to enhance sales in China to 120,000 units yearly by 2012. This only means that the additional capacity will be utilized for exporting fomites to international markets.

First up is the Compactive Sport Tourers, which will be a 4 or 5 seated hatchback door with the soothe characteristics of a compact MPV – high seats position and a spacious cabin – but fashioned more like a passenger car. These are the only details that can be found now and there are no early sketches obtainable. This gives the option of only trying to picture what a BMW hatch with a stroke of intersect styling will look like.

Next up is the well-built wheel-base Advanced Sport Tourers, which directs to extend 7 seat comfortableness to BMW drivers. At present, a 7 seat alternative is only obtainable on the X5 model. This will be a “wagon-oriented” MPV – almost certainly made to take on the reminiscent of the rather triumphant Ford S-Max which has revealed an inclination in market analyzes towards abstracting buyers from premium brands.

The Sport Version of the BMW 3 Series extends perfect characters for relishing driving joy at its very best. With its extraordinary characteristics, this precise model allows the driver and riders to take pleasure in both sporting fashion and the active driving feel at its very best.

The major changes are the M Sports Suspension, 18-inch light-alloy wheels in elite Dark Chrome star-spine pattern and the M Aerodynamics Package. The advanced and sporty looks of the car are additionally emphasized by window beam covers. The range of colors used for the body includes Blue Water Metallic.

The BMW 3 Series Lifestyle Edition is a stylish, contemporary and elite in both exterior and interior designing. Along with other features, these makes are also accessible with predominantly eye-catching Platinum Bronze external paintwork.

The Seat upholstery which is produced solely for the Lifestyle Edition actually stresses the excitement of contemporary, individual fashion in the interior. The centre part in Layer cloth is pooled with external seat components in Fluid cloth. This is very attractive. As a substitute to the seats refined wholly in Anthracite, a double coloured edition with its middle part in Ivory White and external components in Oyster is also accessible for the genuine enthusiast.

When ordered by the client can also find Fluid cloth on the door panels. Interior trim in High-Gloss Platinum Bronze renders the Lifestyle Edition a predominantly elite highlight.

The 2010 BMW 3-Series Convertible Face-lift is spotted. Some sleuth pictures of the forthcoming BMW 3-series transformable doing some last screening before making its first appearance before the public at the Frankfurt motor show in a few weeks from now can be seen.
It appears that BMW is proposing for some striking contact for the debut of the replica. BMW is still now using disguise to block out much of the front end.
Those changes for the face-lifted three series convertible/cab includes obviously, the new front shock absorber as well as a new set of headlights, LED lights at the back and a new back shock absorber too.
Offending peculiarity will be if BMW will be extending any fresh engine selections for the 3-series cab. If they do so then it will be something which BMW brand has been identified to do with upgrades and face-lifts so that something truly will be put out in new.
The most important question is “Could BMW be considering adding its new 2.0 liter Efficient Dynamics diesel with 163 hp and a consumption rating of only 4.1 liters/100 km to the 3-series cabriolet range?”

It has been confirmed that BMW will be using a smaller turbo engine for the 2013 M3. It has been confirmed the upcoming ditching of the current V8 format. The naturally-drew out 4.0-litre V8 produces 309kW (420hp) and 400Nm of torque. Previous generation M3s used four and six-cylinder motors.
A report confirms that a new six-cylinder will be fitted but it will not be the same 3.0-litre twin turbo that is used in the 135i and 335i models. BMW is fiddling with the idea of a V6 for the M3. The new engine may not be more powerful than the V8 but the car would be light to counter this power handicap.
Finally assumption is that the M5 will get its cylinders cut to meet severe emissions laws and fuel economy standards. The M5 and M6 will have a double turbo V8 motor dismissing less than 5.0-litres.

According to BMWTalk, Chris Bangle is leaving BMW. Like BMWTalk is saying, he was the most controversial in the recent history.
Bangle was the first American that joined the BMW design department in 1992. He worked together with his design team for the current 3- and 5-series.

A qoute of BMWTalk what we do like is:

Bangle is known for the ill-mannered nickname “Bangle Butt”, a term that has become tantamount with the distinct rear ends of the BMW models designed and produced during Bangle’s reign.

We hope his leaving won’t effect the upcoming models of BMW to much. We of BMW-News do like the famous rear ends of the current BMW’s.
