BMW G-POWER X5 Typhoon Unveiled

Tuning firm G-Power has unconfined a new Typhoon piece package for the BMW X5 which boasts an insistent exterior style kit as well as the accumulation of a supercharger.

G-power changes the 4.8-liter V8 engine’s function software, sets up new high flow fuel gadgets, and contributes a belt driven ASA T1-521 hd compressor which promotes the engine’s output from 355 hp and 475 Nm to 525 hp (386 kW) and 600 Nm of torque. The Typhoon dashes from 0-100 km/h in 5.0 seconds and has a top speed of 275 km/h (171 mph).
G-Power lends an all-embracing body kit which has an aggressive front apron with huge air inhalations and extremely stylized fender flares which renders additional headroom for the Silverstone Forged Edition forged wheels which are 11Jx23 front and 12Jx23 rear. The Typhoon features a diffuser, new rear apron, and two huge center-put on tailpipes which measure 114 mm in diameter.

X5 facelift spy photo with x6 front bumperThe present model dates back to 2007, BMW has determined to give the face lifted X5 a more insistent appearance by taking on the X6′s front bumper. Other changes in style are anticipated to include a vaguely tailored rear bumper, minor interior updates, and a possibles witch to LED taillights.

Engine alternatives will mirror that of the present X5, but the fresh twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 engine with 400 hp and 450 lb-ft of torque will substitute the old 4.8-liter V8 that gives 350 hp and 350 lb-ft of torque. Should probable owners fail to be overwhelmed by a sport-ute that can run from 0-60 mph in nearly six seconds flat, BMW will reveal a new X5 M which will show off a twin-turbo V8 that churls out a grotesque 550 hp.

BMW X1 Prototype Shows More Skin

This is a picture of BMW’s upcoming X1 crossover. Better glimpse of what to expect can be had when production model debuts at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September.
Now the model is in its final testing stage. The new headlights appear to be a variation of those used on the 5-series GT concept which was shown in Geneva earlier this month. At the rear, is an updated version of BMW’s SAV taillights that now has a “wave” effect lens which is same as the new 7-Series.
It is anticipated that there will be two versions of BMW’s 3.0-liter V6 engine, a naturally aspirated one with 230 hp and 200 lb-ft of torque as well as the highly regarded turbocharged version with 300 hp and 300 lb-ft of torque. The model is standard with rear-wheel-drive and with an optional all-wheel drive.

Set to take on the Mercedes GLK and Audi Q5, the new BMW X1 will start arriving for dealerships in 2010 with German pricing starting somewhere near €32,000.

A very significant premiere at the next week’s Geneva Auto Show will be the BMW X3 xDrive20d emergency rescue vehicle which is making its first public appearance. The Bavarian automaker wants to show off its special-purpose vehicles. The X3 medical urgent situation vehicle is powered by a 2.0-liter turbo diesel engine that builds up an output of 177HP offering an average fuel consumption of 6.5 ltr/100km which is equal to 34.6mpg US. BMW X6 at Detroit Autoshow

BMW went a step further, by answering unasked questions. They revealed the production model of the newest BMW X6 Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV). We don’t know what kind of sports activity the are referring to by this X6, but as far as activity goes, BMW engineers did a great job on this new model. BMW has a new ground-control system, what they call intelligent X-Drive. This distributes power between the front and the back axle, and it’s dynamic performance control system distributes the torque between the right and the left wheel as needed. Both this super tools of X-Drive are standard on the 2009 BMW X6.

Willing to pay more for you BMW X6? Well there is a different version of it as well. A Twin Turbo V8, producing 407b/hp and 450 lb-ft.
