German automaker BMW is celebrating their strong performance for the first quarter of 2010. They are observing the good performance by releasing a new special edition roadster. The 2010 BMW Z4 sDrive35is Limited Edition Mille Miglia accolades the strong BMW operation at the Mille Miglia race in 1940, and was presented at the 2010 edition of the event.

Dr. Klaus Draeger, who is a BMW board member, stated that “The victory in the Mille Miglia in 1940 is still today a milestone in the history of the BMW brand and it is not only a witness to the extraordinary technical competence, but also the passion with which you work in BMW.”

A mere 99 units of the car will be obtainable, all of which will be traded in Italy. The sDrive35is has the 3.0-liter inline-six twin-turbo straight injection petrol engine that develops 340 PS (250 kW / 335 bhp) and up to 450 Nm (332 lb-ft) of torsion. This can be altered by increasing to 500 Nm (369 lb-ft).

The new BMW Z4 is an imitation of its archenemy SLK roadster. The difference is that the new BMW Z4 has ditched its canvas roof by preferring a more stylish retractile steel hard top.

The new Z4 is perfectly suitable for the very best and most awful of the disgracefully random British weather. The Z4′s roof can be raised or even lowered down in 20 seconds and considerably gains the all-round profile that is so limited in the case of rag-tops. It also means more space in the boot, which ranges from 180 liters to 310 liters according to whether the roof is up or down.
The 2.3-liter edition gives 204bhp for a top speed of 150mph, speedup to 60mph in 6.6 seconds, saving of 33mpg and a CO2 placing of 199g/km.
The 3.0-liter version has a control output of 258bhp, a high speed restricted to 155mph, speedup to 60mph in 5.8 seconds, saving of 33mpg and a CO2 measure of 199g/km.

Wheeltronix told us the news before with their Big Scoop. But the latest news of the 2010 Z4 of the BMW has been launched in the UK. This new model features quite a lot of innovations which has never before been seen on a BMW of this type. The new brand which is the BMW Z4 is the first which is fitted with a two-piece, electro-hydraulically operated Retractable Hard-Top roof. This roof is such that it can be elevated or let down in 20 seconds.
The new BMW Z4 is also the first of its kind which extends Adaptive M Sport Suspension. This technique is fitted with a ride height 10mm lesser than the normal car for a more active drive.

A standard six-speed manual gearbox transmits the power to the road in all 3 BMW Z4s. The selection of a seven-speed Double Clutch Transmission, with the gear shift paddles situated on the steering wheel depends on the requirements of the buyer.
