BMW is building up two new sports tourers models which are going to be based on the 1-Series/3-Series. The all-purpose idea is to get into the MPV game but exclusive of the rhetorical drawbacks that will not swing with BMW’s brand epitome as a manufacturer of sporty, fun-to-drive cars.

First up is the Compactive Sport Tourers, which will be a 4 or 5 seated hatchback door with the soothe characteristics of a compact MPV – high seats position and a spacious cabin – but fashioned more like a passenger car.
